This one is very common:

Illiterate young women from remote villages in Bangladesh are married off by their families. Their husbands bring them illegally to India and force them / sell them to brothels. And after that, escaping that becomes virtually impossible for them.

They do not go to the police because they are illegal citizens in India. If they do go to the police, they are simply sent to Kolkata and then to sole BSF border checkpost and left on the Bangladesh side of the border. They do not have enough knowledge about where their home is. (Imagine an Illiterate person from some tiny village in Jharkhand finds themselves  at Wagah Border). With no means to find their homes, and in areas prone to cross border smuggling, these women almost definitely again end up with some human traffickers or by the time the word has got out and the original group kidnaps them again. (This isn't forceful kidnapping. It's manipulation or false promises etc. or threat of informing their families that they have done sex work). 

So once caught in this system, it's impossible to get out. Not being legal citizens they do not enjoy any basic rights in India such as ration, medical treatment etc. Live in the fear of being deported and having to go through the trafficking ordeal which might be extreme or land them in more extreme situations. Are particularly vulnerable to police brutality etc. And often become scapegoats when some politician pressures police departments to look into illegal citizens. 

Any sort of solution to this issue is rife with challenges. 

Similar stuff happens in case of Nepal as well, but since Nepali citizens can reside and work in India that part of the issue is eliminated. 

Parents letting their daughters get trafficked is shockingly common. Not directly to traffickers but via marriage. Money isn't necessarily directly exchanged but there is financial incentive such as forgoing or reducing dowry etc.

There is a separate department of government called "Child Welfare Committee" which is very powerful. CWC has control over all the Orphanages in telangana. They have rescue teams who can come and rescue  neglected, abandoned child.

Yearly once, Telangana police takes up "Operation Muskan" and deploys good amount of police to patrol and rescue children from child labor and take legal action on the employers. At the same time, Telangana police takes up "Operation smile" for rescuing children who undergoes child trafficking.

Coming to the point. What you should do.

1) Call to child helpline number 1098. And give them the location of the child labor or abandoned child.

2) Take some time and wait at the location till the team comes in a van to rescue the child. Which may take upto an hour depends on where the team is. Sometimes they might be rescuing some child at other end of the region and it may take them an hour to come to your location. So, ideally if you really care wait there and follow the child labor or abandoned child until the CWC rescue team comes.

The main issue is the parents themselves are not serious about it.

I remember around a decade ago a 14 year old boy went missing and when parents found out he was with his 25 years old female tution teacher they didn't find anything wrong in it.

It was only after 2 days when he didn't come back and the teacher was also not answering the parents lodged a police complaint and found them in some hotel room outside the city.

Not to mention during lockdown a 13 years old boy was arrested after his 16-17 year old sister got pregnant who was porn addict and used to pressure him to have sex.

Yes (with exceptions) and yes. But make sure when you tell him about your trauma, you are careful not to make it sound like you are saying either one was worse. For example, Definitely don’t say that you have a harder time talking about it than him, that makes it seem like he might not actually be struggling (I know that is not what you intended). It is really easy to sound like you are comparing trauma when two people have similar trauma 

Also before you tell him about it, ask if he is okay if you share your own sexual trauma with him. He may not be in the right head space or it may be triggering to him. 

Also you should maybe try to find your own support group, at least for now. Unless he wants you there as support (ie not talking about your own trauma) or he specifically suggests you also attend the meeting without you asking to come, it may seem like you are invading his safe space. It’s important for him to have a place where he can talk freely, you going to his groups might make it too hard to speak freely (weighing what he feels or his past vs how it could affect the relationship).

First of all, he REALLY and I mean REALLY loves and trusts you for him to open up about something so horrific. Trauma isn't easy to deal with, just continuing to love him the same way and showing him compassion is great. 

Sharing your own story would be a good idea and healing for the both of you.

One thing to remember is that just because his trauma is more violent it doesn’t invalidate your trauma. 

You have a lot of commonalities just as survivors. 

As for advice I’d say take all the time you need to feel things out and act only when you feel urged to, don’t act on the assumption of his needs or yours. 

Your needs reveal themselves to you through your emotions.

Are you sure it is not a compulsive lie though? Casually mentioning a chain or heavy crime he'd been involved and not any conviction that followed? What happened to all those pedos? The government later tried to revise the law to change wording to be gender neutral, but Indian feminists kept pressuring them against it so they never changed it. In India they say you should respect women. They say women are to be worshipped as goddesses. Many people have the notion that since women are to be respected and considered equivalent to goddess hence no matter how bad she is.. She mustn't be punished and must be respected no matter how bad she is.. And yes people have explicitly said these things
